Benefits and services provided by Americas Road & Travel Club, Inc. for members residing in Alaska, Alabama, Utah and Virginia; and by Affinity Road & Travel Club, LLC for members residing in all other states.

Yes, you can choose to cancel at any time. You will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your Membership term. If you have utilized any Roadside Services during your membership term, no refund is owed. Review Membership Benefit Brochures for benefits and service limitations.

To better enjoy your travels, we provide access to a live concierge agent who will assist you in: finding alternate transportation, helping to locate lodging (including campgrounds), and offering suggestions for the nearest restaurants, if your vehicle is disabled.

Good Sam Roadside Assistance offers Emergency Medical Referral Service to assist you with a personal or medical emergency associated with an accident or illness while you're on the road. We help locate legal, medical, or dental help, assist in the replacement of lost prescriptions, or assist in making travel arrangements.

Trip Interruption Assistance is a reimbursement benefit when your vehicle is unable to be driven or towed for more than 24 hours as a result of a collision with another vehicle vehicle more than 100 miles from your home. You can receive reimbursement (up to $1,200 for RV / up to $1,000 for Auto) for expenses such as meals, hotel, and rental car. Trip Interruption Assistance is only available if the vehicle isn't considered a total loss by your insurance carrier.

Coverage

Getting help during a roadside emergency requires three easy steps. 

  1. Call to speak with dispatch agents ready to assist - 1-800-947-0770.
  2. We may be able to identify your location using our Caller Locator technology with your permission. Otherwise, please describe your location and vehicle, including the nearest cross street and the make, model and color of your vehicle. 
  3. Describe your situation to one our dispatch representatives, all of whom are specifically trained to answer questions about RV complexities or auto disablements.

The Good Sam Roadside Assistance covers members as well as their spouse/domestic partner and dependent children, free of charge. Other roadside assistance providers may charge $25-65 per additional driver.

When you request roadside service, our dispatch agents will promptly provide you with an estimated time of arrival. To keep you updated, you can even opt in to receive text message updates throughout the service process. Although delays may sometimes occur due to factors outside our control such as weather, traffic, and road conditions, we always strive to deliver efficient service. It is important to note that certain situations such as longer-distance tows, after-hours service requests, and service requests in remote areas may require longer wait times but rest assured that we will do everything we can to minimize any inconvenience.

Good Sam Roadside Assistance has a network of over 40,000 service and repair facilities across the U.S. and Canada to provide towing and roadside services. The tow provider is chosen based on how close they are to your location, if they have the proper equipment for your particular vehicle, and their availability for a timely dispatch.

Good Sam Roadside Assistance offers unlimited distance towing to the nearest independent professional service center capable and willing to repair your vehicle. Under Platinum+ RV includes destination of your choice within 100 miles of the disablement location.

Yes! Good Sam Roadside Assistance covers the cost to tow both vehicles to the nearest capable professional service center. If the repairs on your truck are serious enough, Good Sam Roadside Assistance will pay to have your travel trailer taken to a safe location.

All services within the U.S. and Canada are prepaid by Good Sam Roadside Assistance so you don't have to pay or deal with reimbursement forms.

Yes, Good Sam Roadside Assistance provides sign-and-drive coverage throughout North America, including Alaska, Canada and Hawaii. You're also covered in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, where we provide roadside emergency services up to a maximum of $250 - $1,000 (depending on which Plan you purchase) per one-year term of membership.

With a Good Sam Extended Service Plan, it’s more than a warranty. Good Sam also offers products extended protection plans for your RV or vehicle. With an extended service plan, if you breakdown you can choose your own RV repair location and choose your deductible.
